Marketing Producer

Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in Culver City, CA
Duration: 12 months
Pay: ~$80.00/hour, DOE

The Planet Group is looking for aMarketing Producer to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and is hybrid in Culver City, CA.

The Social Team is responsible for developing high-level strategy, planning, creative concepting and overall execution plan in collaboration with the Brand and Advertising Teams. They partner with multiple functional disciplines on show launch and campaign projects throughout the year, in addition to directly contributing to and managing the owned social channels.

Marketing Producer Responsibilities:

Maintain alignment on changing scope and ensuring accurate timelines
Coordinate meetings and ensure all vital parties are involved
Maintain and distribute weekly project status meetings of priority projects
Take meeting notes, outline next steps, and distill for clarity
Facilitate all connection points in business launch moments including internal and agency scope, war room arrangement and materials
Partner cross-functionally to find opportunities to optimize workflows
Assist with annual and quarterly forecast planning for upcoming marketing priorities
Work collaboratively with all cross-functional departments within Services Marketing
Gain alignment between Growth, Media, Customer Journey Design, Marketing Communications, Editorial, the Business and Line of Business Marketing on marketing initiatives
Own road maps, project scope, creative review trackers and production schedules
Understand key players to make strategic decisions about who needs to know what (inclusion with discretion)
Partner with Resource and Brand Management to ensure alignment
Own, maintain and update master timelines and trackers
Collaborate with other Project Managers on tracking standards and protocol
Align strategy to key show moments, ensuring accurate and internal communication for all relevant efforts including business critical launches and evergreen initiatives

Marketing Producer Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
5 to7+ years of working experience as a project manager, program manager or operations management
Marketing experience working for global brands with an emphasis on integrated communications
Strong understanding of social, digital and video asset creation and approval cycles
Excellent communicator and ability to work with all levels of management
Organized, excellent task-tracking experience, and acute attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, and deadline driven environment
Proven track record of meeting timelines and taking initiative to make confident decisions quickly and under pressure
Passion for learning new things, continuous improvement and sharing best practices
Outstanding worth ethic, discreet and trustworthy
Direct experience handling critical and confidential information with integrity
Confident in making complicated decisions when needed, and able to explain reasoning
Able to anticipate change and react efficiently & expeditiously
Overall ability to understand and retain new information quickly
Experience in project management tools such as Wrike, AirTable, Quip, Box, OmniPlan, 10,000 Ft or similar platforms; as well as Numbers, Pages, iCal, Keynote and Excel
