Title: Solution Architect – Front-End Focus

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

Contract: 12-Month Initial Term

Start Date: ASAP

We’re working with a global technology consulting partner to find a hands-on UI Solution Architect for an exciting, long-term opportunity with a high-profile end client in the financial services industry. This is a contract role ideal for a skilled architect with a strong background in modern front-end frameworks, secure web integrations, and cross-platform authentication flows. You’ll be working on innovative, large-scale web architecture and shaping the future of digital user experiences in a highly collaborative, enterprise environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Architect and implement scalable, secure front-end solutions using frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte.
Lead POC development, production-ready implementations, and strategic discussions aligned with product goals.
Design secure, seamless authentication flows using WebAuthn, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and native browser tools like ASWebAuthenticationSession.
Ensure safe third-party integrations and manage native web interactivity using modern browser APIs.
Champion and implement security best practices including CORS, CSRF, SameSite Cookies, CHIPS, and Content Security Policy.
Drive adoption of MicroFrontend architecture, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), and backend-for-frontend patterns using Node.js.
Lead the implementation of UI design patterns and modern testing frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and Testing Library.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and provide guidance on API and SDK-based integration models.
Mentor engineering teams, enforce coding standards, and drive front-end architecture excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

8+ years of professional front-end development experience.
Minimum 2+ years in a dedicated Solution Architect role-only candidates with proven architecture experience will be considered.
Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Deep expertise in modern UI frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte).
Solid experience with authentication protocols and secure browser-based integrations.
Hands-on knowledge of Node.js for SSR and tooling.
Experience with MicroFrontend design, CDN optimization, and secure integration strategies.
Familiarity with modern UI testing suites and implementation best practices.
Excellent communication skills, a strong sense of leadership, and the ability to translate business goals into technical execution.

Bonus Points For:

Experience building hybrid or cross-platform mobile apps.
Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.
Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics, and performance monitoring tools.

Please note: This is a hybrid role based in New York City, with three days per week onsite.
