IoT Project Manager - Contract

MCS Group is looking for an IoT Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Greater Belfast. This contract would suit a Project Manager with experience delivering IoT, industrial software or automation projects, who is comfortable working with both technical teams and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. This Project Manager will lead the delivery of innovative technology projects that connect physical devices, operational systems and software platforms.

The Role:

Deliver end-to-end technology projects from planning through to implementationCoordinate internal engineering teams, third-party suppliers and customer stakeholdersManage project plans, budgets, risks and delivery milestonesEnsure successful deployment of connected hardware and software solutionsWork closely with customers to understand operational requirements and translate them into deliverable project outcomesOversee testing, commissioning, rollout and project handoverMaintain clear project governance and regular stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle

The Person

Proven experience delivering IoT, industrial software or automation projectsAlternatively, experience managing projects involving PLC, SCADA or other operational technology environmentsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teamsComfortable working with both software and hardware-focused projectsA structured Project Manager with excellent planning, documentation and organisational skillsExperience within manufacturing, industrial automation, facilities management or connected infrastructure projects is preferred.

Duration: 3 - 6 months
