Network Engineer

• Initial 6 month contract

Our client is seeking an experienced networking professional to join their technical team, playing a key role in delivering and implementing enterprise-grade network solutions across a complex and evolving infrastructure environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale networking projects, supporting the design and delivery of secure, resilient, and high-performing network environments. you'll collaborate with architects and technical teams to bring network designs to life, working with leading technologies including Cisco Nexus, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and SD-WAN solutions.

Rate: Up to £500/day (outside IR35)

The Role:

• Engineer and implement network solutions based on High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
• Configure, deploy, and support Cisco Nexus and Cisco Meraki network environments.
• Deliver and maintain SD-WAN solutions across enterprise networks.
• Implement and support security technologies including Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure optimal network performance and availability.
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders to successfully deliver network transformation initiatives.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

What We re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switching technologies.
• Proven expertise with Cisco Meraki networking solutions.
• Experience implementing and supporting SD-WAN environments.
• Solid knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall technologies.
• Experience working with Fortinet security solutions.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, network security, and enterprise network operations.
• Ability to interpret and implement solutions from High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
