Fort Worth, TX company is seeking a MQ Engineer to join their team for a contract opportunity.

Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.
Contract Duration: 5 Months
Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Must be willing to work varying shifts (Day, Night, Split, or weekends)
- 3+ years’ experience IBM Wensphere MQ
- 3+ years’ experience Troubleshoot issues in a complex enterprise environment
- Design and implement integration solutions leveraging WebSphere MQ
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux a plus
- Familiarity with workflow and ITSM tools and ticketing systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interface at all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and perform in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Basic understanding of server-to-server communication in a large-scale network
Desired Skills & Experience - Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Airline Industry experience
What You Will Be Doing - Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance and updates to IT systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and support end-users.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, providing expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.
