The Control Center Video Surveillance Monitoring Analyst will join an established team of professionals who are respected for dedication and loyalty.

What our work looks like

Noralta Technologies is seeking a Video Surveillance Monitoring Analyst who would be tasked with the following duties and responsibilities in support of assisting and expanding Noralta's customers.

Responsibilities:

View and monitor remote video surveillance and thermal cameras for problems on sites.
Out-bound calls to all clients - notification of issues, trouble shooting on service, etc. (can involve after-hours call outs).
Continual communication with our technical staff and clients located in the field
Alarm Management, response to and providing solutions to the client.
Technical help and troubleshooting using a calm, multi-tasking approach.
Focus on improving techniques and efficiencies with implementation of technology.

Qualifications

Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) in English, this skill is a must have.
2 or more years of remote video surveillance monitoring experience.
Computer hardware/software competency, including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
Reliable, positive, and self-motivated, displaying strong customer service aptitude.
Preference given to those with post-secondary education (or equivalent experience), preferably in a Petroleum-related field allowing an understanding of the technology and sites being monitored.
Previous oilfield operating experience as well as SCADA experience would be considered assets.
Network, programming, database administration and other technological knowledge would be considered an asset.
